Before scheduling your first visit, I or a member of my staff will speak to you over the phone. I aim to address any questions and concerns you may have so that you feel comfortable prior to your appointment. Once your appointment is confirmed, we'll send you documents, or direct you to a web-based intake, to complete prior to your first appointment. We’ll also discuss any other documentation or reports you should bring to the initial visit. Should it be helpful to bring a friend or family member with you, please let me know and we can discuss this in advance.

During your first session, I’ll ask questions that will allow me to learn as much about you as possible. I will inquire about your background, life experiences and your childhood and formative years. We will identify current problems, and discuss past treatment history including what has helped and what has been unhelpful. A complete assessment is key so that we can plan your treatment most effectively.

Payment is due at the time of visit, which includes initial consultations and intermittent meetings. Patients in regular psychotherapy are usually billed at the end of each month. Cash, check, and major credit cards are all currently accepted.
